ORIGIN:
Across the inhospitable surface of the planet Tykto, many different alien species from different worlds, have established secret research stations, each unaware of the others. The native creature Ellsedenos crawls across the planet and captures scientists from each of the bases, then collects them into a 'mock research base' that it created, as if making a miniature zoo for it own amusement.
