ORIGIN:
A mountain that had never been volcanic suddenly blasts fire into the sky and raises the temperature of the world. Buried inside, is the monster Pyrendoros, an ancient planetary artifact with a timer set to re-heat the world after it starts to drift far farther away from the sun when the sun's gravity weakens.
