An energy accident causes a building to explode, but a mysterious UFO appears and uses a ray to stop the explosion mid-way, and reverse the effect, saving everyone. Years later, random people seem to committing bizarre crimes. The detectives discover that the perpetrators are all people who live or have lived in that infamous building. When they try to apprehend the criminals, they always escape via unexplained methods. A specialist figures out that the UFO never really saved anyone...that was an illusion.
