The Great Magical War occurred millions of years ago, when the most powerful sorcerers in the galaxy met on an astral battlefield, to fight to see which magical System was the One True System. The battle left no sorcerer left alive, but the monstrous beast Saboturanza arrived near the battle's end, to absorb the spiritual energy of the dying sorcerers. The monster then went on a rampage across the galaxy, tracking down any powerful magic.
