When a deadly heatwave causes people to collapse, they find themselves wandering in a strange desert, pursued by the monster Naroles. The creature was formed when a dying alien race's crippled spaceship crashed into the sun, and the ship's energy turned the sun into a malicious star. The sun then sent Naroles to the planet to terrorize the population.
