A long-retired adventurer is kept in a special facility where his memory is constantly being 'mined' by a sophisticated machine, so that society can get as much detail of his past adventures as possible, for sale to the public. Dopann keeps attempting escape, and finally discovers that if burrows deep into his own memory, he may find way to escape through there!
