A laboratory in the mountains is run by robot scientists, who have been performing time experiments. One of them is accidentally sucked into the future and reaches the end of known time. An alien monster has been stranded there, hoping to be rescued. It tricks the scientist to exchange places, so it can return to the present. It accidentally goes back farther into the past than it wanted and accidentally destroys the laboratory, preventing itself from ever being rescued.
