The space heroine Quanra led the galactic rebellion against the Infinite Horde and, in the final battle, sacrificed herself for the greater peace. Her personal assistant Kairuchi was left with no owner, and lived out its days on a small asteroid. When Shadows of the Infinite Horde began appearing to threaten worlds, Kairuchi gained new armor and went out to stop the monsters.
