A artist sent a small holiday sculpture to his faraway girlfriend. Through endless postal mishaps, the sculpture took decades in the system before it eventually arrived. When it did arrive, she had become very old and sickly, and had lost all belief in the magic and beauty of the holidays. The package was affected by this and grew to kaiju-size. The military attacked the giant present to no avail. The monster Kumgamkum exploded out of the wrapping paper and rampaged across the town.
