K'Jinmols is a being so ancient it existed in the Protoverse, where there was no time, no motion...only static matter and static light.K'Jinmols created randomness wherever it went, introducing chaos, movement, speeding light and everything else to turn the Protoverse into the dynamic reality it is now. It's Rainbow Gem emitted colours across every spectrum in a random fashion, and the creature juggled Golden Cubes to create random situations.
When the Starcade Astral Engineers decided to build a new Moon that was gambling-themed, they learned about K'Jinmols and the Golden Cubes. They sent a massive time-traveling force into the edge of the Protoverse to steal as many of the Cubes as possible.
They traveled to the present and then placed many of the Golden Cubes in orbit around the new 'Luck Moon' to keep activity on the surface constant;y random. They also built one of the largest Hard LIght projectors as a huge ring that also orbits then moon. Visitors can use this projector to play any number of games, including games that affect the surface.
