A maze-like city is discovered by explorers but the monstrous Skeletotem guarded the entrance. They paid gold coins to the statue and entered, but it turned out the kaiju was insulted since his ancient people placed no value on gold and considered it worth less than dirt. The monster chased the explorers through the endless maze, and became more irritated everytime they threw gold coins at him.
