A lunar exploration team dies in a crater when they run out of supplies and their ship breaks down. Eons later, when life begins to evolve on the moon, the micro-organisms combine into a single lifeform, instead of reproducing into various species. With this strange form of evolution, the single creature becomes linked to the ectoplasmic energy leftover from the explorers' ghosts. Mikazoida finally merges with the crashed ship and becomes a kaiju. It gains power from ectoplasm and becomes a destroyer of civilisations across the galaxy.

Ghost Fireflies: releases small green energy orbs from tentacles that swarm a target to weaken it
Decay Rings: emits a series of energy rings from the red bump over its head, that weaken all structures within a mile
Thrusting Hooks: runs with its head down and uses it giant tusks to garb an enemy and thrust it into air
