A toy company began making a very popular monster figure that represents an ancient legendary being known as Ormfit, and the figures are sold as good luck items. The company pledged to release a new colour variant of the toy every year!
The company (and the civilisation) lasted far longer than expected.....for countless millennia....and the company started running out of new colours to paint the best-selling toy. To deal with this problem, they hired the greatest minds to help discover new colours, but after more countless millennia, there seemed to be no colours left to use. In desperation, the last remaining of the greatest minds created a never-before-seen colour that was so new, it caused time distortions when seen. The distortions allowed the real Ormit to arrive in the present day. The creature went on a rampage, driven mad by the distortions.
