The monster Raddagooska takes an average of 40,000 years to wake up. Until that time, it is very grumpy and clumsy. The military decides to use a TimeStream Jumpstarter to speed up the kaiju's personal lifecycle, so that is will be fully awake and less grumpy. But the device goes too far and makes the monster much older, and therefore, even MORE grumpy and clumsy.... plus crotchety.
