A creature from folklore, only the elders of the village believe the Polipakikai was ever real, but when interviewed, each one's description of the beast is very different. Even ancient drawings are not consistent. A genius enters the village and unravels the mystery: the creature had never existed BUT will exist in the future, and all the varying explanations are the attempts of mere mortals to describe memories they haven't even had yet. To prove his theory he uses a time-scoop to bring the monster into the present.
