A scientist is so desperate to find a way to travel backwards in time, he sacrifices his own sanity to a mysterious Shadow Trader. With his new madness, he leads an expedition into a jungle and discovers a time portal. When the team enters the portal, they seem to travel to a prehistoric era and encounter the monster Tregildon. The team members are killed off, one by one, until only the mad scientist remains. Later, he wakes up in a hospital. Apparently, the expedition only happened in his inner dimension of madness.
