A very superstitious race of beings also became highly technically advanced. They built massive computers that learned how to synthesize their superstitions into real fact. The worst of these was the creature Skelvantra, who was rumoured to represent every dead being in the world, and would one day overpower the living, so that the dead would become alive and the living become dead in an instant.
