When all hope is gone, those who have fallen find themselves on a mysterious flying ship called the Apocalypso, which crosses a land filled with flames of destruction. No matter how they try to steer the ship, it always heads towards an eerie mountain with a glowing orb on its peak. When they are about to crash into the mountain, everyone gains just enough hope to try harder and avoid the collision. By reaching hope, they are all returned to their normal realities. But one truly hopeless traveler is left, and he is about to crash into the mountain, when the orb breaks and reveals the kaiju Dulkalis.
