An automated space freighter carrying biopods (designed to be detonated on planets to allow the Jargoon-Seijin to evolve) is destroyed in a meteor storm, but one pod survives and floats free in deep space. As its expiration timer runs out, the pod starts evolving new life in deep space, which creates an unintended free-floating space jungle filled with twisted mutations. Traumarauder arises as the highest evolved mutation in the jungle and prepares for war against the Jargoon home planet
