An ancient stone table is discovered, proclaiming that, once the 400 quantatillionth person dies on the planet Albezeus, a monster will appear to destroy the world. Global efforts are made to keep that person alive forever, as new medical procedures are invented and an entire defence complex is built to keep them safe. In the madness to keep them from dying, a scientists discovers proof of the existence of the soul, and manages to save the 400 quantatillionth person's soul, just as their body dies. The soul accidentally escapes into the ether, and enters the body of the largest dormant creature nearby: the monster Grandjumbo. The kaiju becomes animated and thus the 400 quantatillionth person ends up being the very one who destroys the world.
