As the planet Siloportemu becomes more mechanized, and its inhabitants more mechanized, only one stubborn lifeform remains. As 'they' try to convert her, she reaches out and her mind summons the strange beast Airamu. The creature lashes out in a last desperate attempt to keep real life going.
