On his way to school, little Yelpio prays for a giant monster to attack his school so he can avoid a really big test. Shockingly, the kaiju Meteroginka surfaces and marches towards the school. The teachers bond together to fight the monster, but to no avail. The military cannot discover the creature's weakness, and puts out a call for anyone who wants to help fight monsters. Yelpio volunteers and finds out he must study harder than ever (and take even worse tests) to become a full-fledged monster-fighter expert.
