Families of gangsters fight over a supposedly priceless statue, but when a lone thief manages to snatch it away from them all, she is hunted across town. Jerra hopes to sell the statue and use the money to pay for her ailing sister's expensive operation., then plans to turn herself in. The statue has other plans, however, and once they are in the hospital, absorbs the nearby drugs to become alive. Jerra chases the statue but it summons its giant kaiju bio-machine Bioviathan, installs itself in the cockpit, and goes on a rampage.
