A hapless sea creature that wandered onto the land for the very first time, because it had overheard a conversation between two amphibians about evolution. Thinking the idea trendy, Merkon explored the land, trying to adapt itself to the air. It created an invisible 'tube' that stretched from its body to the ocean so it could have an emergency supply of water at all times.
