A brilliant scientist built an entire machine planet and lived within the core, cut off from all other life in the galaxy. As the machine planet developed it own awareness, it began to upgrade and modernize itself and in doing so, became smaller and more compact. The planet became so small the scientist was trapped within a single sphere.
