A friendly monster with a soft spot for children, Dedvol was captured by the cruel and sadistic Gompiria-Seijin and used to attack planets. The Gompiria are children themselves, of the massive parent species the Gomprong, and they delight in mischief and mayhem. When some children convince the Gompiria that they are just children too and that Devol loves them, the aliens let the monster go.
