A test robot is stolen from a science facility by a renegade Electronic Brain, who tries to program the robot to help conquer the world. The experiment goes haywire and Lumkiba becomes happy and jolly, escaping the Brain's HQ to find a circus to join. He discovers a circus of unwanted robots, but when developers destroy the circus, Lumkiba grows giant and tried to cause destruction, though he is still overriden by his happy circuits
