The Sanki-Seijin were trapped on their homeworld because of a massive stone shell built around their planet by the vengeful god-kaiju GwaspilaMokat. The shell was filled with deadly traps and tunnels, so anyone who tried to escape into orbit would surely perish. The Sanki genetically crated the monster Sankiba-Jo as their champion. Sankiba-Jo smashed its way through all of tunnels and traps to free the population, who now travel freely through space.
